Medication/food/water

1:25am Woke me up, panting, soliciting walk. U++. Denamarin, gabapentin in pill pocket. Mr. Pugs biscuit.  Turn back down AC so it would switch on and he parked in front of it.

6:30am Walk U++.  Why won’t he pee more than once on anything but long walks?  Drives me nuts.  I am so tired.  Levothyroxine, gabapentin, ursodiol, pred 5mg in pill pockets.  Zinpro biscuit.

11:30am Walk U+++ BM++ (N). Omeprazole, Marin, EFA cap in pill pocket. Mr. Pugs biscuit.

12pm Fed 1.3 c EVO plus boiled egg.  Ate eagerly. Fell asleep in front of AC.

1:30pm Clicker session, teaching “stretch.”

3pm Walk U+++ BM+. Mr. Pugs biscuit.

6:20pm Solicits walk by panting and staring at me.  U++.  We went out to the courtyard but he was very restless and wanted to walk on the grass.  I didn’t want him to poo in the courtyard, if that was what was on his mind, so I walked him outside.  Big mound of diarrhea with mucous ensued.  He’s not “supposed” to get side effects from the chemo this early; it takes a few days to kill off cells and cause diarrhea, so I’m not sure if this is a one-off or the beginning of a chemo reaction 😦

Gave levothyroxine, gabapentin, pred 5mg in pill pocket. Zinpro biscuit.

8:30pm Walk U++ BM + (diarrhea)  😦  Leaving to attend a going-away party for a colleague; hoping for the best (no diarrhea in the apartment while I’m gone).

  1. you’re teaching him to stretch?!? :Þ

    could the EFA be causing diarrhea?

  2. Glad Elliott feeling a bit better. Sending hugs and good thoughts. Everyone take it easy in the heat.
