Medication/Food, Chemo today

4am Walk U++ BM+ (how does he make this much poo?).  Denamarin in pill pocket. Zinpro biscuit.

7:30am Walk U+++ BM++ (soft). Levothyroxine, gabapentin, ursodiol, Marin, pred 5mg in pill pockets. Large Milk Bone biscuit, Zinpro biscuit, Mr. Pugs biscuit.  No breakfast till after we get to work.

8:45am U++ Arrived at work. Drank water +++

1pm Walk U++ BM ++. Hasn’t had chemo yet, so fed 1/2 can i/d.  Ate ravenously. Drank water ++

1:40pm Chemo!  They say they fed him a lot of dry kibbles, one at a time, and he laid still like a good boy. Post-chemo walk U+

2:15pm He doesn’t seem to feel too well.  He’s a little listless and his eyes are dilated.  The oncologist doesn’t think it’s from the chemo (it’s too early for side effects); it could be he ate too much during the administration, and probably swallowed a lot of air.

5pm He’s feeling good again.  I wonder if he, um, released some gas.  Walk U++ BM+ (soft).  Wanted to walk further, so walked all the way around the block.  It’s still a little hot so he was panting heavily by the time we got back.

7pm Fed 1/2 can i/d.  Levothyroxine, tramadol, pred 5mg, Pepcid 10mg in pill pocket.

9pm Back home. U++.  Kibble in Molecuball, ate all.  His appetite has been great this past week KNOCK WOOD.

10:50pm Solicited walk (stared at me, panting).  U++ BM++ (N). Gas-X, Marin, EFA cap in pill pocket.  Zinpro biscuit.  Laid around panting until I turned the AC a bit lower (it is an energy saver, and turns itself on only to lower the temp) and then he parked in front of it and promptly fell asleep 🙂

I’m going to try to space the walks 5 hours apart tonight.  Fingers crossed.
